Some would say you have been unfair to SRK on the airport controversy. Doesn’t racial profiling bother you? Have you never felt that people behaved in a certain manner with you because you are a Muslim?
I don’t think Shah Rukh has ever gone through that. He has been politically correct, there are no court cases against him they still detained him, and he felt humiliated. They were doing their job.

"Billu" Review

SRK's much talked flick "Billu" got a bad bad response from the audience on the very first day.
people hardly liked the movie though it has the brand name SRK in it.

If Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to be the backbone of the film, he should have been given a justified role in the movie. than "Billu" would have been much better. The items songs are so badly incorporated that they seems to be promo songs of some other movies. The actress (Lara Dutta) is seen in eyeliners and lip glosses when there is no food to eat for the family. Asrani, Raj Pal Yadav and Om Puri seems to be doing same roles again and again, particularly in a Priyadarshan movie.

The list of flaws in the direction and concept is endless and as a result the movie got the treatement it deserves.

"Aamir" SRK's pet???

We all very well know about the cold war between Aamir Khan and SRK. Aamir got criticised many when he called his dog Shahrukh on his blog.

At that particular point of time King Khan remained calm and composed, but recently he wished to name his dog Aamir.

SRK said, “Gauri gets upset when I crack jokes about naming my dog Aamir. She thinks why should I bring myself down by doing or saying such things? I understand that she doesn’t want me to lose my dignity, but sometimes I think it is absolutely necessary as people ask for it.”

He further adds “Aamir had said it was a joke that his dog was named after me… and I said if it was a matter of [a] sense of humor, then my joke would have been that I also wanted to name my pets after Aamir, but my pets vehemently refused. My wife said people don’t understand your jokes, so please refrain from doing so… though I felt it was quite funny but I didn’t say it at that time. Nobody said anything about stooping low, etc. Stooping low would be a height joke.”

Aamir will be on break

After a hectic schedule last year because of Ghajini, Aamir Khan has now decided to take one year’s break from the work. He will be off once Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is done.

A source said that it is true that Aamir is finally taking a year off after Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is complete. He is currently in Bangalore shooting for the film. Actually, he was planning to take a sabbatical last year after Taare Zameen Par, where the double responsibility of directing and acting sapped him. But then he was coaxed into doing Ghajini and then began his physical reorientation, the muscle-building and body-toning that really exhausted the method actor. But he is now ready to take the long-pending break. He won’t be doing any films for the next one year

Billu Barber becomes Billu

SRK tries to stay away from the controversies, thats what he did in Billu Barber’s case. He negotiated with the Hairdressers union and has removed the word Barber from his movie and now Billu Barber will only be called Billu.

SRK says, “I had a discussion with the association of hair dressers and salons in Maharashtra. And I’ve pokes to the associations in other cities on the phone. I don’t think we were wrong in ever using the word ‘barber’ and that is what be stand by. But they have their own take on that. The film has been made with a good feeling. So, I’d rather not hurt anyone, because it’s not going to affect my film.

We will put a piece of paper on the word ‘barber’ on the posters and hoardings which belong to the production which is Red Chillies, wherever it can be done. It’s a little expensive to try and change the posters which we couldn’t have done.”

He further says, “If they understood that they wouldn’t have had an issue with it. In this case I was very clear that there is no legality involved and I would just like to make sure that people aren’t unhappy. I think I’m also a little mellow since I’m going for my surgery, so I don’t want to hurt anyone.”

Billu Barber: First official Release In Pakistan

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi would have been the first official SRK release in Pakistan, but due to the 26/11 attack in Mumbai, the plan was cancelled.

Now with a little bit normal relations between India and Pakistan, King Khan's Billu Barber will be his first official release in Pakistan. SRK's home production is all set to release in cinemas across the Pakistan on February 13.

Abhishek to loose some pounds

Mani Ratnam wants Abhishek to loose his extra flab and be fitter for his role in Raavana. So Abhi is trying very hard to loose some weight and is following strict diet chart. He is also under the supervision of a trainer who follows him everywhere...Hey but not EVERYWHERE ;)

Shoulder surgery for SRK

Previously SRK had surgeries of his knees and back and now is the time for his shoulder to get under surgery. King Khan is in pain for many days because of his shoulder.

On the sets of Dulha Mil Gaya, SRK injured his shoulder when he was performing n action scene. He was having many physiotherapy sitting but now decided to have a surgery as doctors have advised him to undergo surgery as early as possible. Shahruk was delaying the surgery because of his commitments mainly to his home production Billu Barber, which is about to release.

Thats SRK..very very committed and dedicated..The wishes of his loving fans will help him to recover soon.

Coming up movies in 2009

Bollywood brought cine goers a mix of both, massive hits and massive flops in 2008 but this year has some big hits coming our way. Here's what we can look forward to in 2009.

First up we have Salman Khan producing a periodical Veer -- Salman Khan's Scripted Mythology, and after that he goes back to his dreams London Dreams i.e., where he entertains the audiences as a pop star. But that's not all, Salman has loads of surprises up his sleeve, and as the year comes to a close, we also get to see him in an action flick, the type of action that only Salman can do justice to in Wanted.

And that's not all, Akshay Kumar has got a few tricks up his sleeve also, he brings to the big screen a wide variety of flicks and what's more we get to watch him do what he does best -- a host of different roles. First in line, we have Chandni Chowk to China, a kung fu hit you won't want to miss. Next up is an action thriller Blue and the list doesn’t end there. Tagged one of 2009's biggest Bollywood flick -- Kambakht Ishq worth 80 crores and has a super star cast, the likes of Silvester Stallon, Denise Richards, Kareena Kapoor and of course Akshay Kumar. Now that sounds like fun, but Akshay doesn't stop there, at the end of this most spectacular year, Akshay turns producer and gives us De Dhanadhan.

As always Aamir Khan always leaves us wanting more -- with his one big release every year and 2009 is no different, we can look forward to his big budget release 3 Idiots -- where he romances Kareena Kapoor.

Moreover, Ritiesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment has also signed Ash for his new film. Abhinay Deo, who’s presently busy shooting his first directorial venture Delhi Belly, will direct the untitled thriller. Abhishek Bachchan will be the hero in the film.
While confirming the news, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment said that it would be a very stylish thriller to be shot entirely in Greece, Thailand, Istanbul and London.
Phew!!!! Wisk Ash has the stamina to cope with such super tight schedule for the year.

The plot of kites revealed!!!!

The plot of Hrithik Roshan's upcoming next Kites produced by his dad Rakesh Roshan and directed by Anurag Basu is revealed. The movie stars Hrithik, Kangana Ranaut and hot Spanish actress Barbara Mori. Few sources reveal, "Kites has Hrithik playing a salsa teacher. Kangana plays a very rich girl and is shown as Hrithik's dance student. The story is set in Las Vegas. In the course of learning Salsa from him, she falls madly in love with him. But then a twist in the tale takes place and the romantic story takes a thriller turn. Barbara Mori plays a Spanish speaking girl and will be seen in the first half of the film. In the film she speaks only in Spanish and Hrithik who plays the salsa teacher can't speak a word of Spanish. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that's where Kangana steps in. Kangana's role is not bigger than that of Barbara's."
