Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone inspired by Rajnikanth

Rajnikanth seems to have charmed Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone also. King Khan and Deepika Padukone has come together for a special song paying tribute to Tamil cinema icon Rajnikanth. The song 'Lungi dance' titled 'Thalaivar Tribute' has been sung and composed by rapper Hardesh Singh, popularly known as Honey Singh. Shahrukh has sighed of relief after wrapping up shooting of 'Chennai Express' directd by Rohit Shetty, which is  to be realeased on August 9, 2013.  

Shahrukh termed Rajnikanth as 'global cultural icon'. He infact added "who isn't a fan of 'The Rajnikanth'?"  Deepika Padukone is also a huge fan of Rajni sir. On Shahrukh's request, she agreed to be a part of the song. The song is being choreographed by National Award winning choreographer Chinni Prakash. "The song is fun, happy and completely Rajnikanth style", Shahrukh said.

Although the song is not a part of Chennai Express, it is sure to boost its fame. Now even Shahrukh has admitted being his fan, we have realised the meaning of 'yanna rascala, mind it'!

Deepika Padukone likes Imran's massage

Yes, you read it correctly. Deepika Padukone said that she likes massage from Imran Khan.... No no, do not unleash horses of your imagination. The real story is  - for an upcoming movie, Imran has to give Deepika a foot massage and Deepika really liked the way Imran did it. Deepika said that she had the best foot massage ever. Now, whenever Deepika feels tired these days Imran comes to her rescue and gives her a good foot massage.

Ranbir must have been missing this skill ;)

Sonam & Deepika: Who will win the fight??

Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone refuse to pose together for Vogue magazine recently, and still they claim that they are friends. When they were approached and asked to shoot together, they both simply asked for individual shoot.

A source says "Deepika and Sonam haven't been shot together, and the magazine thinktank thought it's be a great idea to get the Saawariya and the Om Shanti Om girls in the same frame. Not just because they made their debuts at the same time, but also because they were of the same age, and are friends, as well as rivals. The idea was to get the girls into a mock cat fight. They were asked to wear a shirt, denims and jacket and get into a fight over a boy's t-shirts. The visuals had to show them as two tom boyish girls fighting over a boy's clothes."

Not only this, Sonam Kapoor even refused to be on the same platform with Deepika in the Filmfare awards, when she was asked to host with Deepika. Finally, Konkana Sen joined Deepika.

Sonam declined this incident though and said it was nit true.

Rob Cohen, the Hollywood director of movies like Witches of Eastwick and The Fast and the Furious, believes that Deepika Podukone is more beautiful than Angelina Jolie.

Chandni Chowk To China: A cold Show

Akshay kumar's much awaited movie "Chandni Chowk to China" fell flat on its face on very first day. Crowd preferred to stay away from the movie and those who watched were not satisfied at all.

"We were expecting much more than served" says a disappointed viewer.

An Akki fan says "Akshay and Deepika were good in the movie but the script was very poor"

Really the script could have been fantastic one but instead it was disappointing.
The problem with CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA is that it lacks a watertight screenplay to keep you glued for those 2.45 hours. Agreed, you don't look for logic and reason in hardcore potboilers, but the least the director and his team of writers could do is provide loads of entertainment. Sadly, writers Shridhar Raghavan and Rajat Aroraa make mincemeat of a plot that had the potential to woo viewers all around the world.

On the whole, CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA was a brilliant opportunity which gone begging. The film falls way below expectations and is a major disappointment in all areas.

Rocking birthday for Deepika!!

On this birthday Deepika Podukone cut cake on many reality shows, visited Siddhivinayak temple, spent time with Ranbir Kapoor and few of her close friends. Really Deepika had a real rocking time on her birthday.

She was also too happy with her boyfriend Ranbir's gift. Ranbir quits smoking something Deepika wants him to do for a long time.

This gesture from Ranbir shows that he is very serious about their relation.

A Foreiner as Saif's girlfriend

Saif Ali Khan is trying to give opportunities to foreign actresses in his films these days. It is very common with Amir Khan doing this, and now its Saif's turn. The forthcoming movie of Saif Ali Khan will feature Florence Brudenell Bruce,a British Model & actress. Bruce will play Saif's girlfriend in the movie, which will also star Deepika Podukone.
The production team was looking for a foreign face for the movie and Bruce was selected immediately after her auditions. She has gelled very well with the whole team.
Bruce is very aware about the Bollywood movies as she has watched, Race, Om shanti Om and Guru.
